Chalk Sharks Activity: How big are your favorite sharks? Draw their whole body, fins and all or measure them out from tail to teeth! How many of you does it take to be as long as a whale shark? How many cookiecutter sharks does it take to be as long as you? Find out...
Materials: sidewalk chalk; tape measure; sidewalk (that you have permission to draw on!)
Whale shark 65 ft (20 m) (Great) white: 20 ft (6 m) Thresher shark 20 ft (6.1 m) It's tail is as long as its body! Shortfin mako 20 ft (6m) Dwarf lanternshark 7.8 in (20 cm) Cookiecutter shark 20 in (50 cm)
