This is a great resource to the whale species. Written by Stephen Leatherwood and Randall Reeves, you can learn a little about every kind of whale. Although it was published in 1983, we feel it is still the most concise and complete whale resource guide around.
It also has beautiful illustrations by Larry Foster.
Like the Seals and Sirenians book, we recommend this book to everyone! It is perfect for older students, teachers and especially for anyone that loves marine mammals. Best of all it is reasonably priced - under $20. Your collection won't be complete without this one either.
